Tuning Freedom

With auto-generated tuned maps files for your vehicle, there is no need to connect the OFT to a laptop ¹. After installation, you select the map that best suits your level of modifications and select the file you want to write to the ECU using an iPhone/Android phone app.  All our off-the-shelf (OTS) maps are developed and thoroughly tested by our experienced in-house ECU calibration team. These maps will safely provide substantial power gains and improved ride-ability.

In case your ECU software gets updated by the dealership, it is advisable to request new OTS tune files that are based upon the new updated calibration.   While the OFT is able to backdate your ECU by simply writing the existing OTS tune to the ECU, we recommend erasing and re-reading the ECU so that new OTS tune files (based upon the newly released calibration) can be created.   In that case, an erase credit is required to erase/reset your OFT.   Once the OFT is reinstalled, new OTS tunes can be created and provided to the customer.    The cost of the erase credit is $100 and can purchase HERE.   Of course, another option is for the customer to simply request that the dealership not update their ECU during servicing.

The OFT v3 is also capable of flashing multiple vehicles.   Each additional vehicle license can be purchased for $250 each and can be purchased HERE.   With the additional vehicle license, the OFT can be erased and installed on another vehicle.   However, the OFT will no longer be associated with the first vehicle so it’s important to make sure that the tune file that was last written to that vehicle is suitable for long term use.
